Garbage Disposal
Garbage Disposal
Since garbage disposals were put on the market in the 1940’s, the design has stayed fairly consistent. However, our dependence on them has grown. They are a workhorse in the kitchen, pulverizing food scraps to be sent through the sewage to be processed instead of contributing to landfill waste and saving you the trouble of scraping off every bit of food into the trash. Today, kitchens with a garbage disposal is considered the norm, and the ones without feel as though they are missing something important. Don’t miss out on an important feature in your kitchen!
The most common garbage disposals have a continuous feed that turn on/off through a wall switch. Adding a disposal involves adjusting the piping under the sink to accommodate and adding or modifying an electrical switch.
